Hotel Marmar - Ouarzazate

I had such high hopes, but the shower ran lukewarm at best, not quite what you want to start your day. Frankly, not having a lovely welcome gift to ease the disappointment was just rude. It baffles me how a hotel can charge so much for so little. Would have loved an upgrade, but here we are.

Fairly clean venue with savoury and tasty breakfasts and city views. Good slices of fresh bread, yoghourt, and eggs in the cafe.

Internet connection was weak.

Nice clean hotel, very basic. Good breakfast. Location in the centre of Quarzazate. Great price! The owner was very friendly and we were greeted with mint tea and information on the town.

Our room faced the main road which is very noisy (lots of big trucks!). No air con or fan which made the room very hot!

The bathroom layout leaves much to be desired. There's no separate shower stall, causing the water to get everywhere. For those traveling with luggage, there's no closet space-only small shelves-which isn't ideal for elderly travelers. Noise levels can get disruptive as the hotel isn't well soundproofed, so expect to hear every creak and conversation from elsewhere in the building. Breakfast was simpler than usual, served in an unheated downstairs restaurant that lacked warmth.

We only had a short stay in the city and we had to catch a very early flight the next morning. So the hotel was perfect for us as it was cheap, clean and located only about 1km from the airport. It's also very close to the city centre. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it's definitely value for money.

The gentleman at the reception was so kind and helpful. We were welcomed with tea and he gave advice about our travel and sightseeing options in the area. He connected us with a local car rental company called E.S.O.N. Maroc, which gave us very affordable rates. The hotel itself was clean and was located just a minute walk from the Supratour bus station. The included breakfast was great and we enjoyed the outdoor patio on which breakfast was served.I highly recommend this hotel. It was perfect value for the money.

The hotel staff were accommodating, and the included breakfast was fantastic, really setting us up for our adventures. The place felt cozy, and the rooms were clean and bright, perfect for our family.

My children wished for a playground area outside.

Savoury and large breakfast with a huge variety of options, MODERN and spotlessly clean place. Extremely friendly and affable staff members, excellent location really close to the local taxis and the town centre and CTM bus station. Also, in the desert. Good service, functional room with 2 windows, decent size bathroom plus great breakfast.

The hotel provided with the basic comforts (bathroom, internet, breakfast) for the resonable price which is not always a case in Marocco.

The manager tried to charge me for the hotel two times! When he realized I will not let him cheat me he turned it to the joke. Be careful and ask for receipts!

Recommend it for families seeking comfort

The owner was super kind, let me pick a quiet room from the courtyard, great for resting. Plus, the common areas looked way more than two stars, I mean, really cozy and spacious.

It wasn't the cheapest option but for what I got, it's acceptable.

The place was luxurious and very clean. The double room was cozy, and it was super close to the airport.

The best thing i liked was Idir and Hasan in the reception. They were very helpful and kind to show me around the city, and adviced me the best places to see. This town was very interesting, and we could visit the Casbah with a guide from local people and cinema museum.
